Cool inventions by budding inventors

Grade 3y have been enthusiastically working towards solving their problems and have come up with some wonderful inventions which they feel they cann be patent of.

Krisha wanted to make a multi musical instrument so she combined strings with a cup in a way that it could be used  as a guitar string, shaker and  a drum. I am sure this musical instrument invented by her will be  aboon a s one can learn so many instruments at one go!

 

 

 

Aarush made a 'Dog Distractor' which would save him from the dogs in his locality. He has made  an equipment which he can fix on his bycycle when he goes cycling and if he is chased by any dog a toy similar to food would fall the moment he presses on the button fixxed on the equipment. This will distract the dog and he can then escape. Now that's super cool!!

 

 

Arjun came up with an invention called 'Water Hazard' which will be used to clean the muddy and recycled for others use. The equipment has a hole in it through which the water is poured and it travels through a motor inside which purifies the water and lets it out through an outlet

 

 

Raghav invented a 'Big brother' to help police see if anyone is speeding on the road. He also added areceiver to it that can detect the satellite. this way the ones on a rush on the road will then have to speed up to the nearby police station. 

 

 

 

 

 

Riya came up with an Invention aclled ' The Art Punch' which has lot of shapes in it which can be dipped inside the paint and punched on to her drawing sheet to make her drawing easy.

 

 

 Aarav came up with an idea of having a Ray of protection for the globe which will keep the country safe from invaders thus protecting them of any hazards or wars.

 

 

Jaiden designed a ' Sensor tap' which would be efficient in saving water by not letting it flow freely for seconds!

 

Maanasa came up with ' Automatic healthy food maker which can be used to prepare medicines the moment it gets instructions it will use the ingredients already fed in the machine to make tablets if you are sick

 

 

Grouping actvity

It’s always good to see children working with different team members during their learning and so solved a jigsaw puzzle as a part of their grouping activity.

Tic Tac Toe

The students were divided in groups and they were given tasks in the form of a tic tac toe. They decided on three activities that they worked on and presented it to the class.

 

 

We are creative

The students worked in groups to create mystery cube, story maps, movie posters, fishbone reflection sheet etc. on the genres they were researching about

 

Genre table

The students browsed through the book kept on the tables and wrote down their thoughts about the same.

Similarities and differences between genres

The students drew a Venn diagram and jotted down the similarities and differences found in different genres

Bundling activity

The students were given group of words related to their Unit of  Inquiry and were asked to sort them out as they wished. They also validated their sorting.
